Who am I?
No fluff, only facts
Meet Anurodh (aka me), an Agra-Varanasi kid who turned into a digital marketing whiz!
Been in the game since 2019, with 4 years of experience, I have excelled in SEO, content marketing, and WordPress design. My expertise runs in various industries including education, travel, doctors, e-commerce, and many others.
My “why” in life?
Born in a Banarasi Baniya family; business was by default in my genes; I grew up in both Agra, the Taj Mahal city, and Varanasi, where Lord Shiva and Parvati fell in love.
Guess love for both travelling and business just runs in the family!
Not just that, since both cities are famous for their travel culture and are considered amongst the top visiting places in India, it’s allowed me to get a deeper grasp of the travel industry and market from India’s most popular travel agencies, tour guides, handicraft brands, restaurants, and hotels.
These cities also taught me my biggest lessons of life:
● Don’t think before taking a risk
● Always try and test
● Things take time, so wait and watch
● If you have something to say, say it loud and proud
Coming to my journey:
Nonetheless, I’m still a “Corporate Majdoor,” but this time around I enjoy it, All thanks to my wonderful colleagues and bosses.
I am a call centre escape artist turned Digital Marketing Consultant (told you I like risks!).
After leaving the call centre, I worked as an intern at Digital Kal. It was perhaps a fantastic time that I spent there, and seriously, in my whole corporate life, till today, I am a lucky person who didn’t get any toxic boss or manager.
I am also lucky enough to get the best exposure at awesome places like Nueva Digital Solutions and Technosters, learning from the best (no mean bosses here as well!).
From Digital Kal to Nueva Digital Solutions, it’s a journey that’s taught me many things; which I will share someday in the future, so stay tuned.
Next, Here are my two cents from my experience:
If you are a fresher reading this, remember that a digital marketing job might look glamorous, but in 4 years of my career, I learned it’s more than using digital tools for marketing. You can’t avoid traditional and other ways of marketing.
Check the images I have shared; there are no fancy offices. It’s just a simple setup truth be told. And honestly, I am not complaining either. I love working at retro and minimal theme offices and focus on my creative work because creativity is not always glamorous.
Anurodh beyond the screen:
● Poet on the side, and an open mic warrior by night. Catch me on stage if you’re lucky!
● Travel addict (duh!). That’s why I love to plan marketing for travel agencies and the hospitality industry.
